It was a chilly morning with no wind and a bit of fog on the lake, a great morning for kayaking.

There wasn’t much moving around on the lake this morning but some shore birds.

I saw something in the distance. I got this photo of an otter across the lake. Not a great photo, but this was as close as I could get.

At the south end of the lake an eagle took flight.

There are wild irises growing along the lakeshore. These were a bit past their peak, but still beautiful.

The water’s surface was mostly flat and made for some great reflections. I liked these reeds.

Since it was overcast there were no turtles on the logs across the lake sunning themselves. So, I photographed this log where the turtles usually sit.
