Fall Color

The colors this year are truly wonderful, the best I’ve seen in years.  I hope these photos give you a sense of the scenery near OCC.  These were taken last weekend, so I’m a bit tardy in posting.

First, a quick look around the lake.  These were taken from the kayak.  Still not peak color, but very nice.

Walking through the woods along the lake was very nice.

We took a color tour, driving to High Rollaway near Kingsley, over to Crystal Lake, back through Honor, and up to Glen Lakes.  Some areas had more color than others.

It was a wonderful day, capped off with a visit and dinner with some friends that have just bought a place between Glen Lake and Empire.

During the last week, I’ve also taken some photos near our home outside Kalamazoo.  You can see some of those images at http://markyanceyphoto.wordpress.com

I hope you can enjoy the fall colors where you are.

Mark
