We’re on the final leg of the hike at Keystone Rapids Trail. For the first two posts see Part 1 and Part 2.
There is a lot of clover along the trail. It’s blossom has such a delicate color.
Eventually I reached the area that had been underwater as the Keystone Pond. Once the dam was removed, the Boardman River once again flowed free along a meandering path and what had been underwater is now high, dry, and flourishing with wild flowers and grasses.
The trail heads back into the woods.
There was an area that was full of sweet peas.
This was a wonderful hike with an easy, wide, mostly flat trail. I will be back.
Thanks for tagging along with me on this 3-part adventure.
