We were up north a week ago and drove down a lot of dirt roads looking at the beautiful fall color. These images came from the area inside the triangle of Interlochen, Thompsonville, and Beulah. The color was fairly widespread and what we saw was beautiful.
Some of the roads were seasonal, and this was the season.
I love the color between the trunks of the pine trees.
And, the sky was also worthy of photos.
We passed by this hillside north of Thompsonville and had to go back for photos.
We found ourselves at the Iron Fish Distillery, on another dirt road, and had to stop to sample the product.
It was a beautiful day for exploring. I hope you have a chance to see the fall colors where you are.

Beautiful Michigan. Trees just starting to turn in MO. I think it is going to be a beautiful fall.
Thanks. I hope you get lots of good color. Send a picture.
Great photos of the fall colors, Mark. We were also up north last week and got to enjoy the colors…..and some snow flurries, rain, and WIND!!! In between we enjoyed the sunshine and were able to get all of our fall chores completed. I was disappointed that it was a bit too chilly and windy to enjoy a final kayak paddle of the season. There were some awesome sunrises last week. I will send you a photo of one I took last Friday.
Great photos of our beautiful Michigan. Thanks for sharing.
Color between the pine tree trunks is my favorite, too 🙂
