Finally got back up to the lake and in the kayak. It was a pleasure to see the baby loon with Mom and Dad. It seems to be doing just fine. Click on each image for a larger view.

I also saw three young bucks at the water’s edge. Their antlers are just filling in.



I enjoyed watching this Eastern Kingbird flying from tree to tree. It finally posed long enough for me to get these photos.


Sorry, but no turtles today. I saw a few heads stick up out of the water, but none sunning on the logs this morning.
