Saturday was another beautiful morning on Duck Lake in a kayak. There was almost no wind and the lake was very flat. There was a paddle-board and a couple other kayaks out there along with a few fishermen. Oh, and there were these as well.
We also saw a single loon and a lone otter, but I didn’t get to photograph them.
I have been fortunate enough to have been at Duck Lake for the last 4 weekends in a row. Every time I go out on the lake there is something beautiful to see, and I’ve been fortunate enough to capture some of these with the camera.
I want to thank all those that have commented on this blog. I have reached the milestone of over 50 postings. I would not have continued without your kind words of encouragement. Thank you all.
Mark

Just gorgeous as usual Mark. What time of day do you see the herons?
I would love to see some cedar waxwing photos (my favorite bird) if you ever come across a flock. I just love your nature postings.
I’m usually out in the morning, by 9:30 or so, but I’ve seen them in the evening, too. I’ll keep an eye out for the Cedar wax wings.
