I got out in the kayak this morning before the rain. I had heard that we have a baby loon at the south end of the lake and I was hoping to catch a glimpse. Well, I got more than a glimpse. See the photos below. These photos were taken with a long lens and are heavily cropped so as to not disturb Mama and Baby Loon.
Here is Papa loon. He was about 250 yards away, but keeping a watchful eye.
Baby Loon is a welcome addition to our Duck Lake family.

Oh I’m so happy that we have loons on the south end of the lake and that you took these wonderful photos. That baby is adorable. ❤️
