I got out in the kayak this morning before the rain. I had heard that we have a baby loon at the south end of the lake and I was hoping to catch a glimpse. Well, I got more than a glimpse. See the photos below. These photos were taken with a long lens and are heavily cropped so as to not disturb Mama and Baby Loon.
Here is Papa loon. He was about 250 yards away, but keeping a watchful eye.
Baby Loon is a welcome addition to our Duck Lake family.
