Let’s go ahead and wrap up the Duomo of Florence. This cathedral is know for its exterior, not its interior. However, the inside, although somewhat plain, is still very nice.
However, it is known for its stained glass windows, three of which are shown below.
However, I thought the dome was most beautiful.

OK, so the using the word “plain” is relative. It isn’t plain by our US standards, but it is not as ornate as many other cathedrals in Italy.
