The remainder of our first day in Sedona were spent looking at some of the vista overlooks.  There is one near the airport just west of town called Airport Mesa.  The view is wonderful.

After dinner we noticed that the rain in town was snow on the buttes.  Here’s a couple images of the snow and clouds up on the buttes taken from the Sugar Loaf Trailhead and in the neighborhoods near there.

We certainly were not expecting to see snow, but it was beautiful on the red rocks.
