Rome – Fellow Pilgrims

Over the last 46 posts I have shown some of the wonderful things our group saw while in Italy.  We were 9 days on the ground plus 2 days travelling.  However, all the places we went were not done in isolation.  We were a group of pilgrims, 37 of us in all.  We visited sites that were both holy and secular.  We prayed, we laughed, we ate pizza, pasta, and gelato, we drank wine, limoncello, and coffee, we saw the many wonderful things that I have documented here, and so much more.  But, we did them as a group of pilgrims, with the exception of a couple afternoons.

It only seems fitting that I share some photos of this group that started as strangers, but became much more than that over the course of our pilgrimage.  Unfortunately, I did not get a photo of everyone in our group, and some of you are in here more than once.  I suppose that you were standing still longer than those that I missed.  Therefore, if your photos is not included, please do not take it as a slight on my part.  Thank you all for making this pilgrimage such a memorable trip.

And, here are some more photos thanks to Donna Knight.

And, one last group shot.

And so, fellow pilgrims, I ask…

When can we do it again?  Thanks for making our trip memorable.
