Backyard Garden Spring Blossoms

It has been a while since I posted and I am a bit behind. Still, I want to share some photos from our backyard garden with spring blossoms, ferns, crab apple blossoms, redbud and more.

The ferns are starting to come up (at the time of the photos). I love the shape of the tops with the curl waiting to unfurl.

This one has one of last year’s stems still standing.

There is some moss at the base of a tree with red sprouts of some kind.

The crab apple tree is just starting to show leaves and blossoms.

Our redbud tree has been spectacular this year. Here are just a few blossoms.

These are fronds of grass from last year that have dried and survived the winter.

Spring is here. I love the change of seasons, especially spring with its bright blossoms. Enjoy the season.

  1. looks lovely, Mark. I like the redbud – mom always liked that too. I have fond memories of our old crab apple tree – they made great sling shot ammo 🙂
